Personal Note

How I Know Todd Hamilton

I was introduced to Todd through Dan Marti, a fellow Purdue alum. Todd and I both studied at Purdue — he graduated in '83 with a degree in Agricultural Economics, and I was there from 2005 to 2009.

Todd is the kind of person who has been through every cycle. Fifteen years in commercial lending taught him how to read financial statements cold. He ran an Edward Jones office and became a limited partner. He started a hedge fund focused on financial services, then closed it at the end of 2007 — before the world fell apart. That's not timing the market. That's understanding what you're looking at.

Todd introduced me to Tom Danford, whose accounting practice was eventually acquired by Christen Souers LLC (Consider It Solved). That's how my professional network works: real introductions between people who actually know each other. Dan introduced me to Todd. Todd introduced me to Tom. Tom's firm became Consider It Solved.

Todd Hamilton is the real deal — a guy who has built, operated, and exited businesses across multiple industries over 40 years. When he tells you something about farmland, finance, or business operations, you listen.
