Team 829
The Digital Goats
About Team 829
The Digital Goats (Team 829) is a FIRST Robotics Competition team from Indiana. They are competing at the FIN District Mishawaka Event, March 6–8, 2026, hosted by Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana.
Every FRC team represents students who spent six weeks designing, building, programming, and testing an industrial-size robot. They fundraised. They recruited mentors. They learned engineering, business, and teamwork under real pressure. Team 829 is part of that tradition.
What Competing in FRC Means
Build Season
Six weeks to design, build, and program a 120-pound robot that can score points, play defense, and execute autonomous routines. No extensions. No excuses.
Competition Day
Qualification matches, alliance selection, and elimination rounds. Your robot performs in front of judges, volunteers, and hundreds of spectators. Everything you built gets tested for real.
Beyond the Robot
Teams are judged on engineering, community impact, entrepreneurship, and gracious professionalism. FIRST builds engineers, leaders, and citizens — not just machines.
