The market is surprisingly large: competitive gaming generates billions in revenue and millions of players actively seek improvement.

The business model is straightforward: list your services on coaching platforms (Metafy, Fiverr, ProGuides), promote on Reddit and Discord communities, and deliver sessions via screen share or replay review. Most coaches offer live gameplay coaching (playing alongside the student), VOD review (analyzing the student's recorded gameplay), and structured lesson plans targeting specific skills.

The ceiling is real but modest for most coaches. Unless you are a recognizable pro player or top streamer, the rate cap is around $50-75/hour, and you are unlikely to fill more than 15-20 hours per week.
