Extraction’s 12-minute oner through the streets of Dhaka is the most ambitious action sequence produced for a streaming platform. Chris Hemsworth plays a black-market mercenary extracting a drug lord’s kidnapped son from Dhaka, Bangladesh, and first-time director Sam Hargrave (Chris Evans’s stunt double in the MCU) stages the action with a stunt coordinator’s eye for physicality. The oner — stitched from multiple takes but designed to feel continuous — follows Hemsworth through car chases, rooftop fights, and apartment building brawls without a visible cut. Hemsworth’s commitment to the choreography is total, and the Dhaka setting provides a chaotic urban battlefield unlike anything in Hollywood action.
