The Sprague Web Chat Story
A project timeline that tests everyone's patience
August 2025
Go-Live Approved
Lisa Berry at Sprague gets sign-off to replace Live Agent with Salesforce Messaging in App and Web. Team coordinates sunrise sessions at 7 AM to prepare.
September 2025
Project Put on Hold
Sprague pauses the deployment for an undetermined period. The team stands down.
January 2026
Samantha Picks It Up
Samantha Allen takes over from Lisa Berry. She re-engages with Danny Watts at IOI Ventures and Glen Bradford at ATLARGE. Identifies that the sandbox was refreshed and old test code is invalid. Requests updated code.
February 2026
Testing & Troubleshooting
Samantha marks herself as available agent, tests within the Salesforce environment successfully, but can’t get the widget to load on the test site. She follows up consistently — Feb 5, Feb 10, Feb 19, Feb 23 — until she gets a troubleshooting session scheduled.
March 2026
Live Debug Session
Samantha coordinates a live troubleshooting call with the full team. The kind of persistence that actually gets enterprise software deployed.
What Samantha Brings
Relentless Follow-Through
When the Sprague web chat project was put on hold indefinitely in September 2025, Samantha picked it back up in January 2026 and drove it forward. She doesn’t let things die on the vine.
Salesforce Expertise
Hands-on with Salesforce Messaging in App and Web configuration, sandbox testing, agent availability settings, and Enhanced Messaging deployment. She builds it, tests it, and troubleshoots it herself.
Cross-Team Coordination
Bridges the gap between Sprague’s internal team, external web developers (IOI Ventures / ATLARGE), and brand management. Keeps everyone aligned and moving forward.
Professional Communication
Clear, concise, and unfailingly polite. Follows up consistently without being pushy. The kind of colleague who makes complex projects feel manageable.
Testing Rigor
Insisted on refreshing sandbox code and completing additional rounds of testing before production deployment. Catches issues before they become problems.
Picking Up Where Others Left Off
Took over the web chat project from Lisa Berry seamlessly. Understood the existing work, identified gaps, and moved the project forward without missing a beat.

A Note from Glen
Samantha — I missed our meeting on March 11th and I feel terrible about it. You've been the most consistent, patient, and professional person on this entire project. You followed up when no one else did. You tested when no one asked you to. You picked up a project that had been shelved and brought it back to life.
This page is my way of saying: I see you. The work you do matters. The people who keep enterprise projects moving forward don't get enough credit, and I want to fix that, at least a little bit.
We're going to get this web chat deployed. And when we do, it'll be because you didn't let it die.
