Just spent 4 hours watching a bird fly and now I'm redesigning my entire flying machine concept. My patron is asking where the painting is. I will get to it. The bird was more important. You wouldn't understand.

People keep asking why the Mona Lisa lady is smiling. I literally don't know either. I've been working on this painting for 12 years and I still haven't figured it out. Maybe that's the point. Maybe there is no point. Anyway, back to designing my submarine.

I am paying this man a fortune and he just sent me 47 pages of sketches of a machine that "swims under water" instead of the portrait I ordered. I am not even mad. I am fascinated. But also please finish the portrait.
