Fannie/Freddie Consolidated Class Action
FHFA submitted two filings to Judge Lamberth this afternoon:
-- Doc. 310 arguing Ross Kari's testimony is admissible in the second trial; and
-- Doc. 311 arguing the jury in the second trial should not see the Stegman Memo.
Copies of those filings are attached to this e-mail message.
Later yesterday, FHFA also filed:
-- Doc. 312, encouraging Judge Lamberth to rein in the evidence shareholders will be allowed to present to the jury; and
shareholders filed:
-- Doc. 313, encouraging Judge Lamberth to limit the evidence FHFA will be permitted to share with the jury;
-- Doc. 314, opposing FHFA's request to tinker with jury instructions;
-- Doc. 315, under seal; and
-- Doc. 316; letting the jury see additional materials reflecting FHFA and Treasury's motives;
and copies of these documents are attached to this e-mail message.
Daisey Trust sued FHFA yesterday, and a copy of the complaint is attached to this e-mail message. Daisey complains FHFA's self-funding structure is unconstitutional because it violates the Appropriations Clause. Daisey wants the U.S. District Court in Nevada to halt or delay a residential foreclosure proceeding.
