Please be advised that the principal function of the Office of Privacy and Civil Liberties is to review and oversee the Department of Justice’s privacy operations and to ensure the Department’s compliance with federal privacy laws, including the Privacy Act of 1974 and the privacy provisions of the E-Government Act of 2002.  We have carefully reviewed the information you have provided, but have determined that it is not within the purview of this Office to consider the matters raised in your inquiry.
