Dear Mr. Peter J Wallison #FANNIEGATE $FNMA
hey, saw fiderer put this up about you and wallison:

I wanted to thank Peter Wallison for standing up for what he believes in.
I will say that he is right that Fiderer is calling him a liar.
I'm not sure that Peter J. Wallison is a liar or not. I haven't read his book.
What I would like to ask him is the following, but I don't have his email.
Point 1:
Is he willing to consent that the GSEs were forced by FHFA to take $132.2B?
Point 2:
Is he willing to consent that the GSEs have paid back over $241B so far?
Point 3:
Is he willing to consent that my book that claims that since conservatorship has begun FHFA has taken roughly $15B/annum away from the GSEs is fair based on (1) and (2)?
I'm not sure that there's much to debate here, is there? Does he disagree with anything I'm suggesting? Again, I apologize if I'm asking reasonable questions.
Enjoyed this? Get more like it.
