Was It Worth It?
The math: $5,690 for 32 days of a senior-level AI pair programmer that never sleeps, never complains, and writes TypeScript faster than I can think. That's $178/day — less than what a freelance developer charges for a few hours.
What I got: A 1,800+ page website with 10 programmatic SEO systems, a 3D kitesurfing game, gamification mechanics, dynamic OG images, cross-linked content, and more. Solo. In a month.
The honest answer: Some days I spent $400+ and could have spent $40 being more careful with context windows. But the velocity was unreal. I shipped more in March 2026 than most solo developers ship in a year.
Would I do it again? I'm literally doing it right now. This page was built with Claude Code too.
