The Solicitor General filed its brief opposing the Cacciapalle Plaintiffs, Class Plaintiffs and Fairholme's petition for review to the U.S. Supreme Court today, and a copy of the brief is attached to this e-mail message.  The Solicitor General tells the High Court that the D.C. Circuit's majority opinion is correct, there is no split of authority among the circuit courts of appeal, and that shareholders overstate the practical importance of the D.C.
