Best Energy Stocks
Energy is one of the few sectors offering both yield and inflation protection. XOM and CVX are the gold standard — global scale, diversified operations, and aggressive buyback programs. COP is the best pure-play E&P with a variable dividend structure. SLB and BKR benefit from elevated oilfield services demand globally.
Selection Criteria
- →Strong balance sheet with net debt manageable at $50/barrel oil
- →Disciplined capital allocation — buybacks + dividends over production chasing
- →Low breakeven cost per barrel of production
- →Global diversification reducing single-country geopolitical risk
The Stocks
Energy stocks are highly sensitive to commodity prices which are difficult to predict. This is not financial advice.
