Best Consumer Staples Stocks
Consumer staples stocks are the ultimate recession hedge. People keep buying Coke, Tide, and Pepsi whether the economy is booming or contracting. These companies have decades of brand equity, massive distribution networks, and the pricing power to pass inflation through to consumers. Boring? Yes. Reliably profitable? Also yes.
Selection Criteria
- →Dominant brand in a daily-use consumer category
- →Pricing power demonstrated through multiple inflationary periods
- →Wide distribution moat (shelf space, supply chain scale)
- →Consistent dividend growth for 10+ years
The Stocks
Even staples stocks carry market risk and can underperform in strong bull markets. This is not financial advice.
